Alyson Ryan
Owner and Primary Provider
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Mrs. Alyson Ryan is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner whose passion is taking care of patients in the rural community. Mrs. Ryan completed her RN training in 1987 with a Diploma in Professional Nursing from Baptist School of Nursing in San Antonio, Texas. She later received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock.
Prior to completion of graduate school Mrs. Ryan gained an extensive and valuable medical background in her twenty-five plus years nursing experience in neonatal intensive care, normal newborn care, and pediatric emergency medicine. She is currently certified with the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Mrs. Ryan has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2014 and finally achieved the fulfillment of her dream through the opening of her own pediatric primary care clinic in 2018.
Mrs. Ryan is a native of San Antonio, Texas and has resided in Floresville since 2003. She is married with two grown daughters, one stepson, and one granddaughter. Although owning and operating a clinic takes most of her time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, sewing and taking care of the many animals on the family farm.
Dr. Kathryn Buck
Supervising Physician
Dr. Kathryn Buck is the supervising physician for Ryan Pediatrics. She has over 30 years of experience as a pediatrician and has worked in a variety of settings. Dr. Buck went to Baylor College of Medicine and specialized in pediatric medicine.

Jen Pollard
Receptionist/Medical Assistant
Jen has been with Ryan Pediatrics for over one year. She has many responsibilities, including managing appointments, medical records, and assisting with medical assistant responsibilities. She makes every patient feel at home with her optimism, small-town friendliness, and silliness. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and horseback riding.
Annette Burk
Medical Assistant
Annette has newly joined our practice after completing her MA externship with us. She guides patients to their rooms and triages for Mrs. Ryan. She tries to ensure every patient is as comfortable as possible. She enjoys spending time with her 2 little boys.
Tiffany Dawson
Office Manager/Referral Coordinator/Billing Specialist
Tiffany has been with Ryan Pediatrics for a year and a half. She is our new office manager and referral coordinator. Tiffany worked in previous medical offices and in a hospital as a phlebotomist. She enjoys spending time with family, training her dogs, and making sourdough desserts.
